Annual Meeting 2014: Annual Meeting Business

Just over six hundred delegates attended ETFO’s 2014 Annual Meeting at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto from August 11 to 14. When delegates were not listening to speakers or celebrating their colleagues’ achievements, they were vigorously engaged in debating and considering resolutions related to the operation of the union and the work of teachers and non-teacher educators. Whether delegates were speaking for or against resolutions, all were passionately and actively involved in the democratic process. First-time speakers identified themselves at the podium to receive an ETFO “I am the Face of My Union” t-shirt for their efforts.
